Norm is President & CEO of the Canadian Information Productivity Awards and is its driving force in recognizing excellence in IT-based innovation in Canada.
Norm has led a storied career in Canada's IT industry in senior management positions, working, leading, managing and advising Canadian and multi-national high tech enterprises such as Xerox, Apple, and CN and CP companies. In his corporate roles he has initiated global sourcing shifts from Japan to Canadian factories. In venture capital he was active in securing critical growth capital for a number of Canadian technology companies. He has served as chairman of a number of Canadian trade associations and is still active in CATAAlliance.
CIPA, under Norm's leadership, continues its role as the premier awards program and national champion celebrating, promoting and fostering innovation and global competitiveness for organizations from all sectors of the Canadian economy.
